    Responsibilities

    Leadership and Culture

    • Is responsible for overall program  leadership and culture
    • Proactively assesses programs needs and plans; ensures company alignment

    Human Resource, Time Management and Leadership Development

    • Approves program leader (s) time and provides gap coverage as needed. 
    • Is responsible for program hiring, on-boarding, orientation and on-going assessment and education in conjunction with other program leaders.
    • Is responsible for program disciplinary action in collaboration with applicable leaders and HR. 
    • Is responsible for program leader’s annual employee evaluations.
    • Ensures program leadership is effective and competent and fosters program succession planning.
    • Conducts regularly scheduled program leadership meetings and foster collaboration with any additional applicable leaders.

    Program Expertise and Regulatory Readiness

    • Maintains visibility with internal and external key stakeholders
    • Provides company and Strategic Operations team with regional and program insights as needed
    • Maintains awareness of applicable regulatory body implications affecting program; Collaborates with all applicable parties and ensures program’s constant state of regulatory readiness
    • Provides insights for root cause analysis as needed

    Strategic Planning and Growth

    • In conjunction with applicable parties, is responsible for planning, development, and implementation of long term and short term strategic initiatives for program
    • Is responsible for program-based growth levers.
    • Participates in strategic planning for the Strategic Operations team.

    Expense Management

    • Is responsible for program budget prep and management
    • Is responsible for evaluating program expense trends; Develops, monitors and reports on program’s operational budget for OT, salaries, medical supplies, etc.  and produces variance reports
    • Is responsible for program-based expense management levers. 
    • Develops and proposes capital expenditure plans to support needs for program

    Qualifications

    • Minimum 8 years healthcare industry experience.
    • Minimum 1 year people management experience.
    • Demonstrates understanding and abilities for clinical operational effectiveness, human resource management, fiduciary responsibilities, fiscal management, data analysis, budgeting, risk management, leadership development, relationship management, strategic planning, marketing and communications, regulatory implications, project management and political savvy. 
    • 2 years people management (preferred).
    • Bachelor’s degree (preferred).
    • Previous medical transport experience (preferred)
    • Certified Medical Transport Leadership (CMTE) (preferred).
